Default outlook is duplicating my email and fax entries?

When I enter a contact in Outlook and fill in the line for a fax number, then
I go create a new email, I get a list of names from my contact list. Every
contact that has their faxc number entered is listed twice in the list of
names, one that is a legit email smtp email address and another that is a fax
email number...Very annoying and does not work. I assume I need a patch or
turn on/off a switch but can't find anything about this problem. Actually
almost every station in our office has this problem to. We have Office XP,
Pleae help. THanks

Add an alphabetic character to the fax number field and it should obscure it
from the Outlook Address Book
