Default How to make an item look like it has been "sent"

Hi

I have written an application to create a new mail item and I am able to save
it.. It is saving in the draft folder. when i open the perticular item i am
able to edit the "to, cc, subject" field which i dont to. I want to see the
same item as a sent item where in you can't edit the fields and the issue is
I dont want to send it to the recipiant ( i,e i dont want to use send( )
function).

The following is my code please go through let me know the solution. Thanks
in Advance.

_MailItemPtr olMail( pApp-CreateItem(olMailItem));
olMail-PutSentOnBehalfOfName("ABCDE");
olMail-PutTo("ABCDE");
olMail-PutSubject("You have a mail);
olMail-PutBody("Hello World");
olMail-Save( );

Regards
Sanjay
