I had tried to set up some Outlook contact folders in a hierarchy... ie WORK,
with other folders under that that had company names, another for vendor contacts, etc. When I created the new folders, they appeared in the contacts folder pane as seperate folders and did not look like they were sub folders... anyway, I deleted one of the higher level contact folders thinking it was empty but it also deleted the sub folders at the same time. can I undelete the contact folders I did not want deleted? thanx cjf |

They should all still be in your Deleted Items folder if you haven't emptied it. Switch to the Folder List navigation pane and take a look.

The Contacts view of the Navigation Pane will show all Contacts folders on the same level despite the hierarchy. Only the Folder List view will show them as subfolders. anyway, I deleted one of the higher level contact folders thinking it was empty but it also deleted the sub folders at the same time. can I undelete the contact folders I did not want deleted? Open Deleted Items and drag them back to your folder list. -- Brian Tillman |
