Office 2000 All service packs installed I have names and addresses in my contacts folder but none in my address book. When I try to use address book the "Show Names In" is blank with no options to select the "Contacts" folder. |

You need to post a more accurate account of your version: include your mail
support mode (line 2 of Help | About if you don't know). -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Eric Blitzer" wrote in message ... Thanks Russ for your quick response. I hope this is what you need.

That doesn't fit. Internet Mail Only does not use the Outlook Address Book
and contains no "Show Names From" box. It uses the Windows Address Book. Describe again what you see in the Address Book view. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Eric Blitzer" wrote in message ... In the Contacts folder the names and email addresses are there. The Outlook
address book is empty. I hope I am explaining this correctly. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: That doesn't fit. You are, but you aren't using the Outlook Address Book in that version. You
are using the Windows Address Book so the problem is not with Outlook. That's why it makes no sense that you said the Address Book has a "Show Names From" dropdown. Only the Outlook Address Book has that, not the Windows Address Book. Please verify which version you are really using by looking at Help | About in the _Address Book_ this time, not the application itself. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Eric Blitzer" wrote in message news ![]() In the Contacts folder the names and email addresses are there.
