imported excel to outlook
I followed all the steps to a tee importing contact information from
excel to outlook (xp 02). I named all columns, followed all the import wizard steps, halfway thru I recieved an error message & outlook closed. (this happened on 2 bus. computers). When I tried to manually enter a contact - I recieved the "folder is full" message. Also - when I pull up my contact folder - in catagories view - it is displayed like this: catagories: (none) (65535 items). I tried to right click and delete the items to which I recieve another error message and outlook again restarts. HELP!!

You're only allowed in a Personal Folder file to have 65535 items in a

We just started using/setting up outlook for a seperate part of our business. Odder & odder...
You can't delete items can you? First you might want to try running ScanPST.EXE on your PST file to see if anything bad has happened to the file. Then from within the Contacts folder see if you can then remove the bad items. How many times did you try to import from the file? "Steelcity Gal" wrote in message ... Zero!!
