I'm having the same trouble but I cannot access my Phone and Modem Settings.

Realizing that I do not want to dial those numbers, just store the numbers in my contact list? How do I make that change in XP? "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: You simply need to set the default dialing location for you operating system so Outlook will know how to format the phone number. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Stephen Henson" Stephen wrote in message ... When I attempt to put a phone number into one of my contacts in Outlook 2003, I then receive a "location information" window that asks for country, area code, etc. I do not want to autodial, I simply want to save that info as part of my contact for each individual. I then have to go to task manager and close it out, as it puts it in a loop. I read another posting about this being an XP registry problem, but I was not able to ascertain what the exact solution is. Thank you, Stephen |
