Outlook 2003 is not allowing me to add any new contacts, edit the ones I have
nor export them to keep from losing them. Any ideas? I appreciate any assistance |

You'll probably want to provide some information that will help us
distinguish why you are different from everyone else. Outlook 2003 does provide the capability to add new Contacts. Also, if you once had this capability and now do not, you have even more clues you can provide. You have provided no information that would permit anyone to help. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Char" wrote in message ... Thanks, Russ. My co-worker put in all of his contacts under his own folder.
I have my separate folder on there, too. Now we cannot do anything. Everything is "grayed out." We cannot add any new contacts, nor edit and save any old contacts, nor export them. My co-worker is not very computer literate, and cannot tell me if he did anything different. It is all just locked up. I would prefer not to lose all the information. "On there?" Where is there? Are you running against Exchange Server or a
local data file? Are you both using the same Outlook profile and the same Windows user profile? Can you provide any information at all as to what steps caused this problem? Can you open a new Contact Form? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Char" wrote in message ... Thanks, Russ. My co-worker put in all of his contacts under his own folder.
