Default Distribution Lists

I'm trying to create a distribution list using contacts in my personal folder
"Outlook Today - (name) Personal Folder". It says there are no contacts in
that folder although there are many. I also have a section called "Personal
Folders" with a Contact list in that, although it is empty and I don't use
that contact folder.

How do I point to a different contact list when creating a distribution
list? It's not shown in the drop-down box where the folders should be listed.

Thanks for any info.

You appear not to have configured your Outlook Address Book correctly. You
are not displaying the correct Contacts Folder in your Outlook Address Book
view. If you don't know how to do that, then post your Outlook version so
someone can tell you. Or just read Help files or the KB:

Reset your Outlook Address Book so that it displays the correct Contacts
Folder.
