Default Distribution Groups in the GAL

When I copy the GAL to a local contacts folder I get all the GAL entries.
Only problem is that the Distribution Groups in the GAL do not have an SMTP
address. All the individual addresses come through, but not the Distribution
Groups.

If you display properties for the groups, the address tab shows all the
addresses, so I know they are in there.

Anyone know how to make them show up? Thanks for your help.
