I had been using Office 97 until I found out it is no longer supported. I
replaced it with Office XP . During the installation I had the option to import my Outlook Express files to Outlook. My e-mail files came over okay, but when I try to send e-mail Outlook won't recognize the Contacts I imported and won't let me add new contacts to the Address Book. I can only e-mail someone if I go to that person in Contacts, click on it and use the option to send mail to them I can't send to more than one person at t time unless I already have a distribution list that was set up in Express. So far, I have been unable to find anything on the MS web site that tells me how to fix it. I have tried running the repair function from the disk, but it doesn't help. Can anyone help? Thanks. |

There is no separate address book in Outlook to which you would add
Contacts. Sounds like you simply forgot to configure the Outlook Address Book Service: http://support.microsoft.com/default...Product=ol2002 -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "jack91898" wrote in message ...
