The term "contact list" has no meaning in Outlook. Explain clearly what you
mean by it. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Scott Nelson" wrote in message ... Using outlook 2003.I have 3 contact lists. How do you update the common name to them all automatically? |

There is no data in the Address Book view. The Address Book simply displays
the Contact Folders in your profile. How many Contact Folders do you have in your profile? Do you need more than one? Might your Address Book have some outdated references to Contact Folders? I have 3 contact folders. 1 with about 50 names. Another with about 25 names
and another with 15, all of the names also in the 50 name one. When I change data in the 50 named one I thought it would act as a master and change all off them. But, I have to go into each one and update. I really don't need 3 it's just a mater of convenience all I have to do is highlight all of them and click TO for the addresses. Maybe I'm going at it wrong.. State more clearly what you are trying to achieve. If you don't need three
Contact Folders, why do you have them? Entering or editing Contact data will only apply to the folder in which you are making changes. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Scott Nelson" wrote in message ...
