Default Mail merge data source

I am having trouble making mailing labels and would appreciate any help.
Outlook 2003.
I go to Contacts
I select the contacts that I have named Mom & Dad Christmas list
Tools - Mail merge
All contacts in current view
All contact fields
New document
mailing labels
New document
OK
The Mail Merge Helper box opens. Under Create it says"
Merge type: mailing labels
Main document: Document56
I go to set up and pick the labels that I am using.

Under data source it says Data: C:\docum-1\...\OMMC.doc
I think that is where the problem lies.
If I click on Get data i see:
Create data source
Get data
Use Adrress book
Header options
I have tried all of these and It still won't merge properly.
Under Edit I see the same link for the C:docum-1\..OMMC.doc name.
If I select open data source I get to a select data sourc box. It is called
My data sources. In this box there are two options.
Connect to New Data Source
New SQL Server Connection
What do I do next?
I end up with a blank document or jumbled words if I try to go any further.
Can anyone help? Mary

Default Mail merge data source

You already got the data from Outlook. There is no need to get another data source. Skip that step. In the article at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...CH011218841033, pick up the action with Step 3.
