I would like the capability to build distribution lists more easily.
Specifically, I have members of a team which I have utilized the "company" field to help organize into a group. I should be able to sort my outlook contacts on "company", highlight all the individual contacts whom I would like in the group, right click and select "add to distribution" or "create new distribution" and have all those highlighted contacts added to the distribution. It would also be nice to be able to sort by company in the "add members" dialog. Currently "company" isn't even available in the add members dialog (for building distributions). ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. I don't understand why you wouldn't just use Categories for this like the
rest of us. DL's are not a reliable or robust way to group Contacts. You already have the ability to sort any Contacts Folder by Company. That's what the "By Company" view is for. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "JohnH" wrote in message ... I would like the capability to build distribution lists more easily. may also try the following which was useful: In Contacts, View Arrange By Current View Categories This view gives allows you to also CTRL Select unique Contacts, then Edit Categories and add them by checking the box...
