This will be the 2nd time that I have had to create a new profile with
Outlook 2007; this is not a very clever way of getting fixes to this type of problem! Anyhow, everything was working fine for me (2 x POP3 accounts) - then I added another POP3 account, and the Contact lookup has vaporized! Not good.... BTW, Article ID:197577 in the MS KB is inaccurate, in that the fix method proposed will not work with Vista. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Unfortunately, no. A better reference is here and is independent of the OS:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...Product=ol2002 It's hard to imagine how adding another pop account would do anything to "Contact lookup." It's more plausible that you've hit one of the many snags people are finding with the new Instant Search feature in Outlook 2007. The problems with Outlook 2007 seem to be growing daily, and it is indeed a blunt tool to have to create a new profile each time. Unfortunately, it is the only solution that exists for many Outlook 2007 problems at this point. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Chris Lucas" wrote in message ...
