Sounds like you need to remove references to the old Contact folder and
readd a reference to the current one (even though it's the same folder just moved). Remove: - Tools menu Email accounts View/Change existing address books/directories Click Next - Highlight Outlook Address Book - Click Change - Remove all "Contact" folders shown - OK out of dialogs Add: - right click on the Contacts folder - choose Properties - go to the Outlook Address Book tab - check the "Show this folder as an email address book" box "Michael to Ed" wrote in message ... Vince, thank you for a very helpful post. In my Outlook 2003 I had the same
problem and your post fixed it perfectly. The only thing I found is that after making your suggested changes I had to close and re-start Outlook for the changes to take affect.
