All of a sudden, when entering contact names, the first and last are reversed
in the end product. ie I enter John Doe and show Doe John in my Contact list (no commas). Re-entries have no effect; delete and start over, likewise. |

There's no information here. State:
1. Outlook version. 2. View to which you are referring. 3. Field by which that view is sorted. 4. Format you specified for that field. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Sundance" wrote in message ... I am having a similar issue.
We are using Outlook 2003. This particular user's contacts were imported using a tab delimited text file. When this user goes to address a new email, the full name field is displaying first name, last name and the Display Name is also coming up first name, last name. Under Tools, Options, Contact Option, the Full name field is set to Last First and the Display Name is set to Last, First. I can change the sorting of those two options and nothing changes. Is there a setting I am missing? I would appreciate any help. Thanks "Sundance" wrote: All of a sudden, when entering contact names, the first and last are reversed in the end product. ie I enter John Doe and show Doe John in my Contact list (no commas). The setting you are missing is the one for the Address Book view:
Go to Tools E-mail accounts View or change existing directories or address books Outlook Address Book Change. Set your sort order there -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Jen" wrote in message ...
