I exported contacts from Outlook 2003 to Excel 2003. When I tried to import
them into my boss' Outlook 2003, everything imports but the email addresses. I also tried saving the Excel file as .csv but that didn't help. Please help! |

Instead, create a new PST and copy the folder you want to transfer to the new PST. Close the PST, stop Outlook, and transfer the PST you created. The recipient can open it in OUtlook with FIleOpenOutlook Data File and s/he'll have all your data exactly as you had it. -- Brian Tillman |

I just came across this myself yesterday and when I finally figured out the
problem, I couldn't believe how simple it was. The columns in my Excel sheet for email addresses had the word "Email" in them. What I did was find and replace all "Email" with "E-mail" (note, do not use the quotes). I saved it, exited out, and tried to import the contacts again and it worked. This seams like a mishap on microsofts part. Try it and lets see if it works. "Mar" wrote: I exported contacts from Outlook 2003 to Excel 2003.
