I am trying to save contacts in outlook 2002 and keep receiving a message
saying "an unknown error has occured". I have tried to update and detect and repair but still get the same message. I am able to change details on contacts that are already saved but unable to save new contacts. |

Any ideas what produced this problem?
What information store are you using? The things that would be more likely to help (if using a Personal Folders file) are to check the PST file for errors with the Inbox Repair Tool and to create a new Outlook profile from scratch. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "aftershock232" wrote in message ... ![]() HI there, thanks for the response. the problem has been sorted, it was a problem with a program called oracle that was synced with outlook, so it is all sorted now.
