Default follow up on default contacts

my contacts do not show up when i click on 'to' to send and email. when i
click on the 'to' button i get a select names dialogue box with a drop
down
for 'show names'. there are four address books in this d/down menu but
only
one has my contact and that is the one that gives contacts in my msn
address
book. when i go into view or change address books i can't find this. how
do i
get this address book to show up by default when i click the 'to' button
and
get rid of the others. Thank you in advence

this is a follow up to this question:
I have now deleted some address books and unfortunalely my msn is was one of
them so i have no more msn addresses. i did have a back up of my outlook
contacts which reinstalled and they are fine. the only problem is, how do i
get to them. they only show up when i cllick on the contact folder under the
calender. when i click on the 'to' in an email the only thing that shows up
is personal address book and there is nothing in there. how can i access my
outlook contacts and make it my default. ------------- any ideas on the msn
address book. thank you

Right click on the Contacts folder under your MSN folder list, choose
Properties, go to the Outlook Address Book tab and check the "Show this
folder as an email address book" box.

No, the address book is still there when i click on the contacts tab. i just don't can't access it from any of the usual methods. if i want to send a message from the to button then i have to go into the contacts folder to retrieve the address unless it shows up from a previous email.
