synchronize just fine, however, my contacts are not syncing at all. Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks. |

Your question is for Palm. It is not an Outlook question.

I don't think you can sync a Palm OS device using Active Sync. ActiveSync is
an MS product for Windows mobile/Pocket PC syncing. Mark "andred" wrote in message ... I am trying to sync up my Treo 650 using active sync and inbox/calendar synchronize just fine, however, my contacts are not syncing at all. Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks. |

Yes I know, and of course that will use ActiveSync, but the OP's 650 won't.

I am going to have similar issue this weekend.
My wife's Treo 650P just got replaced. I have a 700W myself. I want to combine her contacts (saved on her desktop in Palm's software) with mine, which is in Outlook 2003 Pro. I then want both of our Treos to have the exact same contacts. From this thread, it appears this is not possible without some 3rd party software? Also we are about 400 miles apart and don't frequently have access to each other's back up files. We are both using windows XP and Office 2003Pro Please forgive my intrusion into this thread, but it seems relevant. I discovered the same problem today . . . I got the message in the sync log
that ActiveSync is not compatible with this version of Outlook. Everything else worked fine, but no contact info was moved to my 650. I'm checking with Palm to see if they intend to update their software soon to syn to Outlook 2007. Good luck to you. I have a similar problem. I am trying to sync my HP Ipaq rx1950 using
ActiveSync 4.5 and Outlook 2003. Before updating to ActiveSync 4.5 this worked fine; now it will sync files and calendar and tasks but will not sync contacts. It does not appear to have a profile for that. HP Support says it is a Microsoft profile issue and not an HP issue. Anyone have or solved this problem yet?
