Default Deleted address (dat) file

My wife's outlook got messed up (the old "disappearing send/receive"
button). I read the thread about creating a new user profile through
control panel/ deleting srs etc. files, and it worked - thanks.

But, I forgot to back up my wife's address book.

But, I still have the delted files in by bin.

Can I gewt them back without my wife having to retype (it would get me
out of the doghouse sooner)?

Hi,

If you still have access to the old pst file, you could run the
Import/Export wizard to import the Outlook Contacts into the new profile.

Here's a link for the same -
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070

During the import process, you could try importing the required
details-either the whole data or import just the contacts part.

Rgds,
Mittu

Outlook's address book contaings no data. It is a view of the Contacts
folder. See if this helps:
