My wife's outlook got messed up (the old "disappearing send/receive"
button). I read the thread about creating a new user profile through control panel/ deleting srs etc. files, and it worked - thanks. But, I forgot to back up my wife's address book. But, I still have the delted files in by bin. Can I gewt them back without my wife having to retype (it would get me out of the doghouse sooner)? |

Hi,
If you still have access to the old pst file, you could run the Import/Export wizard to import the Outlook Contacts into the new profile. Here's a link for the same - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070 During the import process, you could try importing the required details-either the whole data or import just the contacts part. Outlook's address book contaings no data. It is a view of the Contacts folder. See if this helps: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287563/en-us -- Brian Tillman |
