some contacts added to my distribution list do not get used
When adding new contacts to my existing distribution list, they appear added
and show as members of the list. After saving and closing, create a new message using the distribution list, the new contacts have not been added. Go back to view the list in contacts and they are there. This has been happening repeatedly but I get no error message at any time.

You haven't posted enough information for anyone to help. Outlook version,
information store, and how you are selecting the recipient are all in play. Provide that information in complete detail.
