I know it's possible to print a sheet of address labels from Outlook, BUT is
it possible to do the reverse? I have a sheet of address labels I'd like to *import into Outlook*... Any ideas? Thanks in advance! C. |

If you have some Optical Character Recognition software available to you to can scan the paper and convert the characters into data the PC can recognize as text, it's conceivable. -- Brian Tillman |

Actually I already have it electronically... so how would I go about it in
that case? What I'm trying to avoid of course is having to copy and paste 572 names and addresses into Outlook individually, hence my trying to find some sort of import mechanism... Thanks again! C. Depends on what form it is in. If it's a comma-separated values file, it should be straightforward. Excel spreadsheets are also reasonable easy. Other formats may be more difficult, but until you let us know the format, we can't say for sure. -- Brian Tillman |

Sorry 'bout that!
I used the Word template from Avery for their 5162 mailing labels ... so it's a type of table I guess... each label is in a cell like this: First and Last Name School Name Address City, Province Postal Code There... hope that helps! You'll have to convert it to a file that Outlook can handle. In Outlook click FIleImport and ExportImport from another program or fileNext and read the various types of files Outlook can handle. Then massage your Word document into one of these formats. -- Brian Tillman |
