Default Address list display

Apparently it started when importing my contacts to my new PC. When Outlook
opens (2002 SP3), it displays all my contacts with subfolders as it should.
I access all data as supposed. When I want to compose a new email and hit
the TO button I get an Microsoft Outlook windows that states, The Address
list can not be displayed. The contacts folder associated with this address
list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not
have permissions. For information on how to remove this folder from the
Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Outlook help. When I click the OK
button, the select names windows appears with the first (sub)folder name of
my contacts list. When I hit the drop down, all my contact folders are
duplicated but only one has any information inside. The other instance is
simply blank and it gives me the same message as before - The address book
could not be displayed...

I have continued to used it as is, but would like to remove the empty
duplicate folder which shows only in this window. How can I do this?

Thanks,
Carlos.

That's why so many people state in this and other Outlook groups to never
import. Thers' no need and you break things when you do.
