I usually search my Outlook Contacts by pressing Ctrl+Shift+F (which is an
Advanced Search). The search results are then shown in another window, which is always the same size and shape. Can I change the size and shape of that resulting window, because the phone number field (which is what I am trying to find 95% of the time) is always way off to the right and I have to scroll sideways or double-click to open the contact before I can see the phone number. Or is there a way to define what fields are shown in the results window - name and number, for example? I know it sounds a tiny thing, but it's been bugging me for years. As I hit Ctrl+Shift+F, I've already got the phone in my hand, ready to dial, and then I have to put it down again to open the contact. It's a two-step process to present me with the phone number when it could be one. If you have a moment, thanks! -- Sproxton in Sydney |
