I've been accumulating contacts in Outlook for 5 years. Initially they were
in a PST file, then I migrated to Outlook Connector for MSN, and now I'm on a hosted Exchange service. My client is currently Outlook 2003. I just copied the Contacts whenever I moved to the next type of service. Outlook Connector had placed an email address which I no longer use in several fields, instead of my name (which is standard with Exchange). Those fields a - Changed by and From in All Mail Fields - From in All Post Fields - Organizer in All Appointments Fields Those are fields which Outlook won't allow me to edit. Can anyone suggest a work-around to update those fields? Recreating the Contacts is an option, of course, but not one I'm enthusiastic about. Thanks for any advice you might be able to provide. |

They are not editable. Why would you worry about them anyway? They're not critical to the operation of your contacts.

Sue, that sounds like a good way of looking at it. I was thinking that if
there was an easy way to fix up those fields, I'd do it. Might they come into play in a collaborative situation, such as Share Point? However, that's not my working environment right now, so I'm trying to cross a bridge that doesn't need to be crossed! Thanks for your input. "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ...
