I am a long time outlook user. In 2007 I attempted to search the contacts
folder unsuccessfully. It goes away briefly and returns with a nothing there message. Searches for known contacts returns nothing. The simpler search tools are working fine suggesting that the file can be found and data exists. I have reset the search. I have been through all the parameters and set them to nothing. I have gone back to 2003 on another machine and verified advanced search works there. It is puzzling for such a simple tool to fail. Probably a setting somewhere of which I am ignorant. GM |
