Default Collapse Contacts by Default

Outlook 2007. We display our contacts by category. Every time we open
Outlook and go to Contacts, all categories are expanded, even though the last
time we were in the contacts we collapsed all the groups. How can I make it
so the default is to have all groups collapsed when we first open contacts?

Default Collapse Contacts by Default

I had the same question and found the answer in another post:

Go to View | Current View | Customize Current View (the Current View menu is
under Arrange By in Outlook 2003), click the Group By button, and choose
"All collapsed" in the Expand/collapse defaults box.
