I need help
1. I inadvertantly deleted from my XP machine my .pst files. 2. I have had them recovered on DVD 3. I have tried to import them in Vista's Outlook (not express) 4. Get error message that it is not a PST File (but it has the pst file extension) 5. The Dell tech says it must be corrupt. Query - Is the file possible corrupt and if so how do I fix it? If this is a Microsoft system problem - how do solve it -- Thanks for your input |

5. The Dell tech says it must be corrupt. If you have moved the PST from the DVD to your hard drive and have removed the read-only attribute, then the Dell tech is correct. The file was most likely corrupted by the method you used to store it on DVD in the first place. Query - Is the file possible corrupt and if so how do I fix it? Possibly by purchasing a PST recovery program. There are plenty, but you can find one he http://www.officerecovery.com/ -- Brian Tillman |

Thanks - do you think that a "Geek Squad" would have the facilities to
perform such a task? -- Thanks for your input "Person" wrote: I need help 1. I inadvertantly deleted from my XP machine my .pst files. 2. I have had them recovered on DVD 3.
