I am having the same problem too, Outlook isn't generating a birthday
reminder automatically when I create new contacts or import contacts. "Brad" wrote: Brian- You seem to be very knowledgeable about the birthday reminders. My problem is that Outlook is not always generating a reminder when I put in a birthday or an anniversary. Do you have any ideas?? Thanks, Brad "Brian Tillman" wrote: Greg wrote: I'm sorry, I didn't explain myself correctly. I would like to suppress the entire event. I just want to use the Birthday field in Contacts as information, not to create a Calendar event at all. Is this possible? I don't think that's possible using the birthday field. In fact, if you include a birthday in the Contacts record, then remove it from the calendar, if you later make a change to that contact, the birhday will be readded. You'll have to use some other, miscellaneous field or enter the birthday as a notation in the note pane of the contact. -- Brian Tillman |
