Default Editing Phone Numbers in OUTLOOK 2007 - HELP!!!

I have a rather unique situation here. My local phone company
recently changed things so that to get a local number you have to dial
"1 + the area code". This means that all of the numbers in my contact
list in the (310) area need to be edited to have the "+1" added in
front of them to have OUTLOOK dial that number. I can search all
numbers in the (310) area code and have a list of them. Is there any
way to batch edit that list to fix all those numbers, or do I have to
do it one at a time?

did you configure the phone and modem options (windows control panel) to
require 10 digit dialing? Edit dialing rules - General and Area code rules
tabs.

Won't work becuase some of the (310) numbers have the "1" and some
don't. We're talking 758 contacts.

You can export all contacts to a windows cvs file and edit the file in excel
then import them back to your contacts. You will have to delete the existing
contacts or move them to another folder preferably.
