Thank you for your helpfulness Russ. That solved the problem but now I am
having an additional problem. I used the KB287563 to solve the problem. Now when I use a contact to select the email address and send the message the outlook tries to send the message continuously. I had it go for over 2000 tries and had to use end process to get it to stop. If I type the exact same email address in by hand the message sends with out a problem. I created a new contact for myself and sent the message using the new contact and the message sends fine. Is there a way to fix the other contacts? Thanks, Cecil "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: http://support.microsoft.com/default...Product=ol2002 The path used in Outlook 2007 is Tools Accounts Address Book Tab. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "CWH" wrote in message ... I assume some setting is unchecked somewhere but can't find anything. I'm not technical but any help would be appreciated. |

Depends on what's wrong with them. How did you migrate the data? Sounds like
you didn't create them in a way that resolved the electronic addresses. If you simply open and save one of your existing Contacts, can you then send a message to that Contact? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "CWH" wrote in message ... Thank you for your helpfulness Russ.
