And on the contact navigation pane thre is nothing listed under my contacts. But If i right click on the contacts button and say open in new window they are all there. Can anyone help? |

If resetting your Nav Pane doesn't work, try starting Outlook once with the
/cleanviews command line switch. This switch (and a few other really helpful ones) are discussed he http://support.microsoft.com/support.../q156/9/82.asp -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "ktemay" wrote in message ... I tired reseting the navigation pane and that didn't work. Then I tried the
switch you suggested and that didn't work either. Any other suggestions? Not until you provide more information. State the steps that created your
problem in the first place. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "ktemay" wrote in message ... I tired reseting the navigation pane and that didn't work. I started outlook 1 morning and it wasn't working. For whatever reason my
view changes each time I open outlook. Sometimes I'll have all my folders in the "favorite folders" and sometimes it will only have my inbox. Each time I start it I never know what it will look like. I thought this was just that so I tried restarting it but they have never come back. it's like the whole file was deleted except when I right click on the contact button I can open them in a new window and all the contacts are there. So as far as you know this just started all of a sudden for no reason? You
made no changes or updates to your OS or Office installation and encountered no errors before this started? That does make it rather difficult to sort out from a distance. You never stated your Office version nor information store. I posted the list of repair options. The next most likely candidate is /resetfolders. Since we can only take shots in the dark here, you can also try repairing your data file and creating a new profile. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "ktemay" wrote in message ...
