I too am having trouble with making mailing labels from my Outlook contacts.
I first opened Outlook --- selected Contacts --- Tools --- MailMerge --- Mailing Labels --- Selected which fields I wanted to populate on Mail Merge Contacts clicked OK --- Word automatically opens & a message appears Outlook has created a MailMerge document and prepared your contact data for you. In order to complete the setup for Mailing Labels you have tp press the "Setup" button in section 1 of the MailMerge helper dialog. I then clicked OK then Setup chose the printer type and Label Product Number and clicked OK the contacts were not formatted for the labels. The addresses for the contacts were either run together in Word Office Mail Merge (OMM) or Word will display the Mailing Label Template with no contact addresses populated only the words Next Record in each label area. I am desperate for help please explain things in simplified language as I am technology speak challenged. Thank you for your help. -- PSPulley Owner Pam's Nic Nacs www.pamsnicnacs.com |

You failed to post your versions. After you choose your label type, are you
then dismissing the merge helper and returning to the Mail Merge Toolbar to complete the merge? You must. Are you remembering to use the "Propagate labels" step? You must. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "PSPulley" wrote in message ... I too am having trouble with making mailing labels from my Outlook contacts. I am using both Outlook and Word 2003. The merge helper automatically closes
I have not tried the Merge Mail Toolbar as I always have trouble finding it. I will give it a try and hopefully I'll be able to propagate the labels. I'll let you know. Again thanks. -- PSPulley Owner Pam''''''''''''''''s Nic Nacs www.pamsnicnacs.com "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: You failed to post your versions.
