I use a number of different Distribution Lists for various purposes for
contacts that are in various groups. People (aka contacts) are continuously joining and leaving organizations Most of my contacts are associated with one or more categories, which has been made much simpler and more streamlined with Outlook 2007. Is there a way to automatically add (and remove) contacts with a given category to a distribution list enmass rather than individually. Some of the lists have 100 + contacts. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, |

![]() Brian, Perhaps I wasn't clear. I already have categories assigned to contacts. What I'd like to be able to do is include all contacts with a given category in a distribution list without having select the contacts individually. The reverse would also be helpful: that is when an individual is no longer in a category they would be removed from a distribution list when choosing Update all. Thanks, Phebe "Brian Tillman" wrote: Phebe wrote: Most of my contacts are associated with one or more categories, which has been made much simpler and more streamlined with Outlook 2007. Instead, since you already have categories, use them. Select a category and click ActionsNew Message to Contact to create a message to all members of the category. -- Brian Tillman |
