Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command line switch. This
switch (and a few other really helpful ones) are discussed he http://support.microsoft.com/support.../q156/9/82.asp However did you migrate your Outlook data to create this mess? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Tim G" wrote in message ... I just dragged my .PST from the folder where it was on the old PC to the
location Outlook was expecting it to be on the new PC. When I click on the link you provided it said it wasn't found. Since I've just moved to XP I don't know how to do what you suggested. Thanks for any follow-up help you can give. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command line switch. Bad idea. Never just drag a PST file to the default location. Outlook
doesn't "expect" anything and has no idea which file to open until you tell it. You probably overwrote another PST file and corrupted your profile. Start with the instructions I gave you. The site comes up fine. Here's another version of the same information: http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/commandlines.htm -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Tim G" wrote in message ... You really corrupted your profile and probabably your PST file as well. Do
you still have a copy of the original? If not, repair your PST file. Then create a new profile from scratch and connect to this PST file correctly: Open it in Outlook. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Tim G" wrote in message ...
