Ok, I've read all the threads and I am convinced that Outlook can not be
relied on enough to use distribution list. I have three teams, each with about 35 players on them. I have a distribution list for each. Through the year, players email addresses change or get deleted or players quit or move to another team. I have edited the distribution list, removed the outdated email, saved it.... and guess what, when I use the distribution list, that player STILL gets the email. This can cause me an embarrasing problem depending what I say. When I open up the distribution list, the email IS NOT THERE, yet when I send it, the EMAIL IS THERE. If you can't help me fix this problem, what do SAVY Outlook users to to mail to 'groups' of people? I'm always trying to be better, thanks for helping me. |

Aren't DL's fun? The two alternatives used most by for users who have given
up on DL's are Categories and separate Contact subfolders. There are pro's and con's to each. Compare them he http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/oloabcat.htm -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "jwb" wrote in message ...
