Default How do you change email address in memory when it has changed?

In Outlook, I have defined my friends with their email addresses. When I
start to type the name of the person in the "TO", Outlook automatically puts
in the associated email address. However,I have a friend who changed his
email address and I updated my contact list, but Outlook is still putting in
the former email address and not the new address. How do I get Outlook to
use the new email address? Thank you,

When you start typing the address, a list will pop up. This is the
autocompletion cache. If there is more than one address showing, one of
which is the bad one, use your down arrow key to highlight the bad address
and then press Delete. If there is only one address and it is the bad one,
finishing typing a good address that starts with the same letters and when
you've finished entering that good address, press CTRL-K top resolve the
good address. Now, erase the good address and start typing the first
characters again. Both the good address and the bad address should aoppear
and you can select the bad one with the down arrow key and delete it.

To manipulate the autocompletion cache, you can also use a tool like
http://www.ingressor.com/ (not free, but very comprehensive) or like
http://www.nk2.info/ (free, but is as comprehensive).
