How to get Outlook Contacts to quit filling in area code automatic
I do not want Outlook Contacts to fill in any phone number information (area
code or country) automatically when I input a new contact name and info, but cannot figure out how to turn this function off. Can anyone help, please?

You can't turn it off. I've never seen a need to.
