Is there anyway I can preserve the distribution list name in the To: field
when sending a message. The name of the distribution list is preserved when the list is created in GAL? |

Not as far as I can tell. SMTP protocol requires the expansion of the list when the client sends the message to the server. That said, create another contact whose name matches your DL name, giving that new contact your own email address. Then when you send a mesasge, put that contact in the To field and put the real DL in the Bcc field. -- Brian Tillman |
