Then I assume you actually mean that you have a Contacts Folder. The term
"contact list" has no meaning in Outlook's context.
Your choices are to create a separate Contacts Folder or use Categories.

I have a contacts list of my personal e-mail addresses, less than 100. I
want
to create a seperate contacts list, by a specific name, of more 1,500
members
of an Association so I can send an e-mail to all members.

Clarify your post.
State what you mean by "contact list."
State what you mean by "under a different name."
State anything else that might explain what you want to do.
