When I open a new mail to type and look for a contact in "To...", a
different contact list is open instead of the one whose is part of my outlook
opened. It is an odl version of it.
How could I use the right one?

The autocompletion cache (that suggests names as you type in a recipient
field) is not connected in any way to your contacts. It's just a list of
addresses you've used in the past. If you don't want one of the addresses
it contains, when the list appears, select the address with the down-arrow
key and then press Delete.

Are you talking about using autocompletion (the names that appear as you
type) or autoresolution (the names that appear when you open the Outlook
Address Book from the To: button or hit "Check Names")?
This would be normal behavior for the former. It has nothing to do with your
Contacts. Nor could it be using an "old version" as you claim. Look more
closely and provide a more accurate description.

Russ, the problem is, as you said, "the names that appear when you open the
Outlook Address Book from the To: button".

The list opened there is not the same in my Contact List. That one is an old
version, not the updated one.

The address book can only show Contacts Folders that exist in your current
Outlook profile. That means that somehow you've ended up with more than one
Contacts Folder and are still displaying one that you are no longer using.
It is a simple matter to examine which Contact Folders you are displaying
and then configure the address book to show the one(s) you want. Do so he
Tools E-mail accounts View or change existing directories or address
books Outlook Address Book Change.

Note that if you have a Contacts Folder that isn't appearing there, you will
need to enable it as an email address book in its properties.
