I have Outlook 2003 and for some reason, contacts that are deleved, do not
show up in the Deleted Items folder. However, if I delete a contact from an Archived Contacts list, they do go to the deleted items folder! Can anyone help? |

Make sure you are in the Folder List view of the Navigation Pain. Then go
have a look at what's happening. Still not there?? I hope this helps you at least a little bit! I figured out a solution. I tried changing the view, etc., but that didn't
help. Then I looked at the Properties of the Deleted Items folder and found that I had checked "Archive items in this folder..." under the AutoArchive tab. When I unchecked this and went back to the Delete Items folder, now any contacts deleted did show up there. Seems to me there aught to be a warning from Microsoft that this will happen written next to the "Archive Items..." button.
