Default Importing csv file

I am using Outlook 2007. I have created a new folder which contains Contact
items.
I have a csv file that I want to import into this new folder. When I try to
do this Outlook crashes. I have tried to do the same with Outlook 2002 and it
works fine. Anyone any ideas?

May I suggest that one (of several) possible reason that no responses may
have been forthcoming is that no specific info was provided. The term
"Outlook crashes" may indicate that Outlook has stopped working but doesn't
tell anyone anything. Usually there is at least one error message displayed.
All persons that respond here do so on their own free time which for the
most part is very limited. The more detailed info provided - the more likely
(and more quickly) a response may be offered.

Right now - no one can provie a reasonable "likely" cause/solution without
some clue as to what occured and what environments both imports were run on
(i.e. Win 'XP, Vista)? You running Outlook '2007 with or without
BCM? ----first starting point however would be a complete description of any
error message(s) displayed.
