Well we don't have them either. Was there a question here you thought we
could help with?

No, if the the translator works on your computer then you obviously have the
file. But since you "don't have them either" I guess you can't help me.
Thanks for the response.

You don't understand how Office installations work, do you?

Yes, I understand. My point was that your response was as helpful as no
response. I have no installation discs because the system came pre loaded
from office depot. I also see several other posts on this same issue now, so
this is a common problem that needs to be addressed by someone.

So what exactly did you think someone here could do? Whom did you think
should address your "problem?"

Vendors who sell you PCs with preloaded software are obligated to supply
recovery disks or installation disks or some way to generate those disks
(via an extra disk partition, for example from which you can make your own)
in order to comply with their OEM license agreement. Consult the
manufacturer of the PC or Office Depot and ask them how to get installation
disks.

You don't understand. Office installation files are linked to their original
installation source. Even if someone decided to violate their license
agreement and provide you files, you couldn't use them. You should be
contacting your OEM. That is your only recourse.
