I'm having a problem with this as well for a few days now...everything was
working just fine for weeks and then one day all 4 of my hotmail addys stopped working. I have submitted a Tech Support ticket via one of my accounts and so hopefully we'll get some sort of relief soon. In the meantime, on their help page from within Windows Live Mail, I saw a few help posts by MS in regards to "How to setup Outlook/Outlook Express to use hotmail accounts." (Not in those exact words but close) and what I read on both of the posts is that you HAVE to have an account in order to use either program to read your mail now....nowhere did I read that 2003 and 2007 are free to use the service anymore. And that sucks if MS changed the rules on us mid-stream. So I'll wait patiently for them to answer my support ticket and post back here with the results. "Jose Escalante" wrote: Diane and Eagle117 I looked at upgrading to a "premium" account but as I read I only found that it includes other services (see below) but does not include a true sync between outlook and hotmail (contacts, calendar) and in fact it should also be linked to messenger. I'm surprised that Microsoft does not offer this since it would allow information to be centralized in Outlook as a database with Hotmail and Messenger to be alternative delivery options. I've been suggesting that Hotmail Plus should be included in this but nobody seems to listen so far. "Jose Escalante" wrote: I clicked on the send receive button but and it syncs ultra fast. Yesterday I downloaded and installed the Connector and it doesn't seem to
pick up my email form the hotmail acct. It continues to retrieve it from an old account, even though I went into TOOLS and changed the default to the hotmail address. The server status notes an error in the synching of the calendar, but that is not a problem for me as I don't use that calendar. Any ideas?
