Hello, I would like to send email to multiple users from my contacts within
Outlook, but would like that only the recipient name shows for that particular recipient. In other words, if I was sending an email to Bob, Mary, and Tom, I would only want them to see their email address in the TO line not the other people that it was sent to. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, JoTom |

That requires a mail merge to electronic mail. Outlook uses Word for
performing mail merge functions such as Form Letters, mailing labels, envelopes, and fax or email merges. For an overview of these functions take a look he http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/printlabel.htm http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/mailmerge.htm http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...186361033.aspx -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "JoTom" wrote in message ... If you don't want to customize the body of the email for each person you are
sending it to then simply add all the recipients to the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) field instead of the To field. -- Bill R MVP "JoTom" wrote in message ... Other than adding the recipients to the Bcc field, is there a way to keep a
Distribution List private so the recipients only see the name of the distribution list or their own name but not the names of the other recipients on the list? Only via a Mail Merge as Russ has suggested. That will send individual
emails. You might find online services that will create mailing lists outside of Outlook and do that. -- Bill R MVP "Diego" wrote in message ... I found one add-on for Outlook, though it appears to be quite
expensive... $49.95 http://www.timeatlas.com/mos/Email/O...utlook_Groups/ I havent tried it yet, as I wanted to see if there is something cheaper. But, who knows? R |
