Default Add sender to Contact list

I know that in Outlook 2003 I am supposed to be able to right click on the
senders name and hit "Add to contact list" to add the sender to addressbook.
But when I right clikc, that option is not listed... any suggestions?

Default Add sender to Contact list

What is listed? Is it listed but greyed out? Where are you right clicking the sender's address?

After furious head scratching, coin asked:

Did you open the message first, or just view it in the Reading Pane?
