Default Journal entries

I am trying to use Outlook as a contact manager and I put many Journal
entries in a number of contacts. I have tried to eliminate duplicate entries,
and now when I try to access any JOurnal enties they have all gone somewhere.
Can I reattach them to the proper name somehow? i.e. Are they floating
around somewhere or do I need to start from scratch

Look for filters on your view that might be hiding them and try using Search
to locate them.
Also look in your Deleted Items folder.
If they are really gone you'll need to start from scratch.

Thanks for the idea---I went to LINK - Items____Journal and found all my
missing entries. Now I need to laboriously manually relink them, but it's a
lot better than losing them altogether!
