Default Outlook 2007 spam filter with hotmail contacts

To set your hotmail contacts as the default contact list when sending email
in Outlook using the Outlook Connector:

- From Outlook, click on the Tools menu and select "Address Book..."
- In the Address Book window, click the Tools menu and select "Options..."
- Select your hotmail contacts in the "Show this address list first:" dropdown

Currently I can
- syncronise all e-mail and e-mail folders between hotmail and Outlook 2007
- acceess Hotmail contacts with Outlook 2007, although I thought this was
only possible with a premium account. Outllok does not accept these hotmail
contacts as "safe sender" for Junk mail filtering
- hotmail calender is not available through Outlook, as expected

Since I only managed to get the conector working on second instalation and
the fact that no one has been able to confirm to me that I will be able to
make the hotmail contacts folder list the default folders list, once the
hotmal account is premium, I have not paid this subscription.

Please can you confirm that I will be able to make the hotmail contacts
folder the Outlook 2007 default contacts folder (which in turn will allow
Outllok to recognise these email address for Junk e-mail filtering, and
general contacts functionality).

Many thanks
Andrew

Yes, Connector installed and working - when I look at the Server
Status, it tells me that there is a coneection to Mail and Contacts,
but not calender, which is as expected, as I have not paid for
subscription.

What's the issue then? You sound like you have everything that's available
with a non-premium account. With a non-premium account, your Hotmail
folders can't be the default folders.
